This, I call the world's first power strip -- although today, it may be used as a display piece. It's a collection of seven early plastic or Bakelite Depression-era electrical outlet extenders. Plug one of these into a home electrical outlet, and from one outlet it gave you three. This was not exactly a safe practice, but it was done. I collected these little guys over the past 15 years and, while I don't recommend using them, I think they're just so beautifully designed! Examples here were made by companies including Eagle, Meteor and General Electric. All are for non-polarized plugs.
