Item details

This patterns explains, using detailed step by step photography and descriptions, how to make this fascinating rope. The rope seems to divide into sections, much like the segments of a cantaloupe melon, hence the name.

There is room for lots of bead play with this pattern. It can be beaded in one colour or a mix of colours and varying patterns. It can be a continuous rope, a necklace with a clasp, a bangle or a bracelet.

The tutorial is suitable for a beginner with a little experience and those ready to start to try intermediate patterns. It is very detailed and thorough so easy for a beginner to follow.

Materials for a bracelet

10g Superduos
5g Size 15 seed beads
150 3mm pearls

I am happy for you to sell items made using the tutorial locally, in galleries and at local craft fairs. I do not permit the selling of items made using the tutorial on the internet. I also do not permit mass production of items made using the tutorial. Please credit me as the designer.

***If you buy the Cantaloupe Rope and the Cantaloupe Pendant tutorials together then you may have the Cantaloupe Chain tutorial for free. Just let me know in the notes section that you would like it to be sent to you as well.***

Please note, the pattern is written in ENGLISH only. The photographs are clear and detailed so many beaders will manage to create pieces using the photographs alone.

Average review
I've yet to attempt at making myself this unique bracelet. What struck me is the one of a kind design pattern. The tutorial seems a bit complex especially when looking at the bracelet; it looks easy to make. The tutorial is easy to follow with plenty of instruction and photos step by step. Great for me as I will sometimes get myself confused with reading instructions. I love the design especially using the Czech SuperDuo beads.

Great bracelet tutorial. I also like that it looks like a bangle but has a clasp
