Living in Alaska, you never know when you might have a moose wander into your yard and when they do; don't be surprised if they cause a little mischief! We had a little bull moose pull up all of our newly planted shrubbery. I was going to chase him away, but he ended up chasing me up on our deck! This summer we have enjoyed watching a set of twins grown up in our back yard-what fun! This inspired me to design my new children's' quilt, The Moose is Loose. This pattern is a twin size quit with a center block that measures 39" x 59". The quilt pattern has three borders that surround the center block with a total measurement of 65" x 83". This little moose gets into all kinds of mischief including; running through a clothes line, colliding with a birdhouse, and an encounter with an outhouse as well as having a delicious snack of colorful summer flowers. There are several pattern pieces but they are easy to cut out and arrange on this whimsical quit using fusible web applique. There is a fabric chart included with the pattern along with fabric suggestions or come up with your own ideas. If you are not familiar with using fusible web, you can watch a video on my website www.kindergardendesigns.com. There are 33 pages so make sure you have plenty of paper in your printer.
