This DIY sorbet yellow beaded elasticated bracelet kit, from my Dotty Daydream everyday jewellery range, is very easy to make. No special tools are needed, the glass beads are just threaded on to the elastic provided, and full instructions are included. By increasing or reducing the number of beads the bracelet can be sized to fit both small and large wrists.
These uncommon square glass Peacock Beads measure approximately 10 x 10mm (0.40 inch). The name 'Peacock Bead' comes from the soft shimmer of iridescent colour on the spots. No two beads are exactly the same, with each one having slightly different spot placement and spot colour. Together with the different sized glass Czech beads, they create a simple but pleasing band of colour for the wrist.
The finished bracelet is stylish enough for everyday wear, and the kit itself is suitable for complete beginners.
All the beads are coated glass beads and when loose should be kept away from young children.
