This little pig went to market
This little piggy stayed home
This little pig had roast beef
This little piggy had none
And this little piggy went wee, wee all the way home

Growing up the oldest of six children, I memorized “This Little Piggy” nursery rhyme along with many others, taught my siblings, passed it on to my son, and now I am teaching my grandsons. We choose to live by faith, family values, and traditions hoping we have instilled in our children the passion to pass down those time worn traditions to the next generation. My dad was the pig farmer and my mom the artistically talented sewist. Mom made our clothing, my aunts wedding gown (years later became my wedding dress) and mended all the silk bindings on our special blankets. Passing down the tradition and value of handcrafted to me from my grandmother, my mom, and aunts has been a Godsend.
