When you are tired of watching videos and really want to learn how to shade Zentangle® then get this ebook to learn how to shade FOUR different tangles: Tri-roda, Pufcookie, Aommes and Splinters.

The instruction ebook has 24 pages, with over 74 pictures showing step by step how to shade each basic tangle pattern.

New format: You asked, I heard you. In a recent poll, tanglers said they wanted to learn how to shade different tangles instead of just one in depth. In this new super compact ebook, you get FOUR different shading guides, in a new layout that is easier to print and collect for reference.

Format: Downloadable PDF Document

This ebook is not a video. You must be familiar with some basic drawing skills such as ink line drawing, and also how to use a blending stump to create SOFT SHADING WITH A PENCIL or equivalent medium. If you have NEVER shaded before, then please visit my shading resources page here: http://tutorials.enioken.com/shading-basics/

Tools and Materials:

Paper: my favorite is Bristol Smooth
Micro-eraser, I used Tombow's
Blending Stump
Ink pen or gel pen for line art
HB Pencil

UPDATE Oct.13, 2015: This ebook was updated, new name, pencil guide and new progression added to the document.

Tri-roda is pattern by Eni Oken, inspired on the pattern Niuroda by Tina “Akua” Hunziker.

Aommes is a pattern by Cindy Angiel.

I have obsessed with Zentangle art for 3 years now, but have never mastered the concept of shading. The shading e-books by Eni, including this one, are just fantastic. It is like learning at the hands of a master! I love them all.
