A little fun with twisted cables: SPIDER Hand Warmers. Classy, quirky, fun.

This is a pattern that keeps you interested: twisted stitches and cabling techniques, knit in the round. It features a knitter's favorite: Barbara Walker’s The Spider (from Charted Knitting Designs: A Third Treasury of Knitting Patterns). The written instructions for the spider are my translation of Walker’s flat-knit pattern into a pattern for knitting in the round.

The PDF contains full instructions, both charted and written out, and color photos. If you have any questions either before or after purchasing, please just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

When you have purchased a digital pattern you will receive an instant prompt to download the PDF file purchased. You should also receive an email with the link for download shortly after payment has cleared. The email will automatically be sent to the address you have on file with Etsy. You can also check your purchases section on Etsy for the same download link.

**Please note that patterns are non-refundable.**

Finished circumference of each hand warmer is about 8 inches unstretched; the ribbed palm means that they easily stretch to fit larger hands. Finished length is 8 inches.

Materials Required
100 grams/220 yards of worsted weight yarn. Lighter colors show the twisted cable pattern better than darker colors.
Four US #4 / 3.5 mm double-pointed needles
A small stitch holder or piece of scrap yarn
Small safety pin or stitch marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge: 5.5 sts/inch in stockinette. If you are knitting a little tighter, don’t worry--these hand warmers do stretch.
