Perfect companion for little ones and the young at heart, quick and SUPER FUN knit for you!
Frog and sweater are knit complete all in one piece and stuffed as you go. You start at the neck with provisional cast-on, knit the head and detail the face. The stitches at neck are picked up and the rest of the frog is knit top-down, in-the-round. For a sneak peak at the process see photo 4.
Easy peasie stuff for intermediate knitter. If you run into trouble, pattern support is always just an email away.
**Intermediate level:** uses Provisional cast-on, Kitchener Stitch, knitting-in-round (perfect for magic loop), grafting and duplicate stitch
NOTE - gauge for toys is not crucial but… the knitted fabric should be tight enough to keep the stuffing from poking through. Sample gauge using KnitPicks Comfy Sport is: 26 sts/4" and 36 rows/4”. At above gauge Froggie is approx. 15" tall.
