Women's sewing pattern for a bat sleeve tunic with simple bat sleeves. Great for running errands, for lounging and looking cute, for your yoga class or even for casual work days. It is also nice to wear as a maternity tunic.
My name is Liron Ladenheim, I have been selling actual clothing for 7 years now and have been asked quite a lot if I would sell my patterns. I finally decided to start sharing them so you can make your own Lirola pieces and enjoy them in any color you like. New patterns will be uploaded over the next few weeks.
Recommended fabric: Jersey knit fabric, light to medium weight With some stretch. 1.6 yards or meters.
Required notions : 2 pieces of 5" (12-23cm) long elastic, which is 1/8" or 3-4 mm wide 1 double needle for your sewing machine to make hems if you choose to. Make sure to go to the store with your sewing machine plate to check comparability.
Questions you might have:
Where can I see my pattern? Go to the upper bar where it says "YOU" Click on "Purchases and reviews" and in your order you will find your zip pattern file.
Choosing your size Choose your size from the size chart. When viewing the Pdf of pattern pieces you can choose to see only your size. This is easier on the eye when working with the pattern. Before printing, hide the unwanted sizes (explained in your zip, file number 2) For tops choose according to your bust and adjust waist and hips if needed, not the other way around.
Printing the pattern pieces: Open your file containing the pattern pieces, and print only the test square at first to make sure it is 4"X4" (10.16cmX10.16cm). If not, this means that your printer is scaling the pattern to fit the pages. Choose a "no scale" option, or "actual size". When the square is the right size, you can print the pattern. Cut the rectangles around each pattern piece and connect them with tape. I much prefer the use of the "print at a copy shop option". So take advantage of file number 4 which is a full scale pattern.
Are seam allowances included? Yes, they are included and are 1/4" or 0.6-0.7 mm and designed for a 4 thread overlock machine. This pattern is a professional one and in a professional pattern you lay the edge of your fabric at the edge of your presser foot. You will sew much faster and more accurately.
