Item details

This is a quote from one of Tove Jansson's wonderful Moomins books. I feel like pretty much everyone could use this piece in their life.

When stitched on 14 ct fabric this piece will measure 11 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. When stitched on 16 or 18 ct it will fit in an 8x10" frame. The digital download includes the pattern files and instructions (including floss and thread notes for both versions pictured here).

The floss and threads I used include metallics from Kreinik, which are much easier to stitch with than DMC metallics, and stranded silk floss from Etsy seller Spiral Dyed. It can of course be stitched with any thread choices. The metallics are extremely shiny in person, they just don't photograph well, unfortunately (and metallics plus black fabric make for the hardest to photograph piece ever).

The pattern will be available to download via Etsy after purchase is complete. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Average review
The PDF arrived immediately, and the pattern is SO wonderful—everything is very clearly laid out/labeled, so there will be no confusion at all when working on the project. (Plus, it's freaking adorable.) Thank you so, so much! I'll definitely be purchasing more patterns from you in the future!

Returns & exchanges

I do not offer refunds. It is up to the buyer to read listings carefully and ask questions before they buy.

If a listing title includes the word "pattern" it is just that, a pattern, not a finished piece.

Additional policies

Do not sell finished pieces made with my patterns barring for charity purposes. In those instances the full price from the finished piece must go to the charity, not a percentage.

My patterns do not use symbols (in general), but solid color blocks on graph paper. For me this is both the easiest way to create a pattern and the easiest to read when stitching.

I am not currently able to convert my patterns to symbols only, though I am working on that with a few of the more complex ones.

If a pattern is difficult to read on your monitor or after printing (ie: if the colors run together), please contact me and I'll work to fix it for you.
