When silk fabric is cut and made into saris, wraps, and veils, there is always a bit left over. Rather than throw that waste fiber into the trash, it has been made into a beautiful, unique, soft yarn! Direct from India, this yarn is a truly recycled product! It is a bulky weight and is soft and easy to knit or crochet.

These skeins come in gorgeous shades of pink! As you can see from the photos, the skeins are not all solid, but a great compilation of soft and dark pinks and even some lavender! This ribbon yarn is very soft and light! This is the softest, most pliable sari silk ribbon I have felt! Each skein / hank weighs 3.5 ounces (100 grams) and measures approximately 50 yards of ribbon. The width of the ribbon varies from 1/2-inch to 1 1/2 inches and each section of color is about 1 yard long; all sections are sewn together end to end to make 1 continuous skein. Please note: skeins are compiled based on weight, not length, so the yardage is an approximation; some skeins with thicker ribbon may have less yardage where thinner ribbons may have more.

We ship via US Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail for domestic (U.S.) customers. If you would like expedited shipping, please contact me BEFORE checkout for rates and shipping dates.

International customers: We ship using First Class International to all of our customers abroad. Please note that First Class International is the least expensive option for shipping internationally, but it can be on the slow side and is not trackable once it leaves the United States. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for delivery. If you would like to upgrade to Priority Mail International, please contact me BEFORE checkout. All customs fees, duties, or taxes for international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer to pay upon receipt.
