Item details

**Please note that this listing is for a knitting PATTERN ONLY, NOT the actual garment! No refunds will be given once transaction is complete. Thank-you for reading.**

This cardigan is what I think of as being perfect for after a yoga class, or anytime you need a grab-and-go item that you can throw on and is lightweight.

The pretty lotus lace pattern on the back works up quickly. The fronts maybe be worn open or closed; they are worked in a ridge pattern that lays flat and will not curl.

Little sleeves give an extra bit of warmth and coverage, yet with this gorgeous silk blend yarn you will stay cool!

Intermediate pattern - you need to be able to work a lace pattern, increase & decrease while working in pattern, pick up stitches and work short rows. Lace pattern for back is charted only.

Pattern Notes

- Cardigan begins with the back, which is worked from the bottom up. The fronts are picked up and work down to the hem. After sewing sides together, the sleeves are picked up and short rows are worked before working in the round to the lace border. Finally, the border is worked on the fronts and across the remaining held stitches on the back.

- For the fronts, increases are always worked on a knit row. Be sure to keep track of the correct # of sts, and it will change as you work in Stockinette Ridge patt.

- You will worked an increase row every knit row until fronts are completed, creating the slopes on fronts.
