Item details

This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms.

Puffins are such special birds. With this easy pattern, even a beginner can make a wooly puffin.

The pattern for the head, body, bill and tail is written in stitch colour, so you don't really have to think about what to do but just follow the coloured steps. At my blog you can find extra info about changing colour, attaching the animal etc.

The crochet pattern contains:
- An intro with useful info.
- List of materials, tools and accessories needed.
- Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn.
- A clear description of how to crochet and assemble the animal.
- Pictures to help getting everything right.

5,1 inch/ 13 cm sitting, when made with worsted weight yarn.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.

Materials and tools needed
At least three colours of worsted weight yarn, one skein of each is more than enough and animal eyes. You will also need: crochet hook for worsted weight yarn (E US/3,5 mm), embroidery needles, scissor and stitch markers. Felt to make the patch behind the eyes. The animal is made with Istex Lett Lopi yarn.

This crochet pattern is available for Instant Download. When your payment is completed you will receive an email with all the information needed to download your file. This email will be sent to the email address registered with your Etsy Account.

Note: this pattern is for personal use only, so for yourself or as gifts etc. I’m not okay with selling dolls made with this pattern, especially on Etsy or somewhere else online. Selling a few on a craft market I am okay with, as long as you mention my name as the designer.

Average review
It’s not an easy pattern to follow I have made many of these dolls not my favorite unfortunately. I think I will try it again and alter it.
