Item details

The Ashford Book of Needle Felting was written by me, Barbara Allen, and published by Ashford, a NZ company who specialise in wool and the manufacture of spinning wheels and weaving looms.

This book will help you explore the unlimited potential of needle felting. Step by step instructions and more than 250 full colour photographs will help you create your own adorable animals, beautiful flowers and scenes, jewellery and embellishments, all in flat or 3-D sculpted felt. All you need is a little wool and a felting needle to start.

My detailed descriptions and step-by-step colour photographs will give you confidence to create your own unique and beautiful felted works of art. The book will take you from a beginner to advanced needle felting, building your skills as you work step-by-step through the projects. It covers materials and equipment needed, and techniques; it also provides all the pattern templates.

There are eleven gorgeous projects to make, plus a Gallery section with heaps of inspirational needle felted items. The Gallery near the back of the book is intended to inspire you to continue using the skills you have learnt, to create your own works of art.

The Ashford Book of Needle Felting will be a great companion to those of your who have already learnt needle felting, helping you fine-tune your skills to make your creations outstanding.

I accept both New Zealand and international orders, which will usually be shipped within 3 working days of confirmation of payment, except in the unlikely event of an unavoidable delay. In this case I will let you know approximately how long before your item will be shipped.
Orders within NZ will be posted using NZ Post Parcel Post service.
International orders will be shipped using International Air Mail, which usually takes between 3 - 10 working days to be delivered. These items will be automatically insured to a value of up to $250, but they are not automatically tracked. The buyer is responsible for any taxes, customs duty, etc that may be incurred at the time of delivery.
Your order will be shipped to the address provided on your order form, please make sure this is correct before placing your order. I am not responsible for any lost items due to incorrect address information.
I will take great care to package your order well, but I cannot be responsible for the order once it leaves my hands and is on its way to you, as unfortunately I have no control over what happens to it in the postal system. That said, I very rarely have had a problem with any parcels I send, and I have been posting my products all over the world for many years.
