This is a cool vintage pattern to make some kitschy kitchen stuff - There are 2 bun holders - and a bun warmer shaped like a chicken! There is also a placement with pockets for your fork, knife and spoon and a napkin and a casserole cover ideal for pot lucks.
PLACEMATS are made of reversible pre-quilted fabric and outer edges are finished with bias tape. Placemats have a three-slot pocket for utensils, loop to hold napkin, and can be rolled up and tied for convenient storage. NAPKIN INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED.
CASSEROLE HOLDER is made of reversible pre-quilted fabric and outer edges are finished with bias tape. Corners fold back to form casings for the drawstring closure. A convenient carrying handle closes on the top with buttons.
VIEW A BUNHOLDER is three double-layer circular pieces of fabric with outer edges finished with bias tape. Pieces are layered and stitched so when placed in a basket, pockets are formed for buns or rolls.
VIEW B BUNHOLDER is made from contrasting fabrics, fits in basket and flaps fold in to cover buns. You can create your own look by adding trim to outside edges or embroider decorative stitches or initials.
VIEW C HEN BUN WARMER is shaped like a hen, has button eyes, and made from pre-quilted fabric for the body and contrast fabric for the comb. Bun Warmer fits over basket and is held in place with elastic at lower edge. Wings flip up exposing an opening. Wings and bottom edge are finished with bias tape.
I cannot find a date on this pattern but I believe it is from the 1980's Pattern is like new, uncut and still in factory folds, instructions are included. Envelope shows wear with some large tears and frayed edges.
