Item details

This listing is for the download of a PDF sewing pattern to make a bridle carry bag. It is NOT for a physical paper pattern. The bag can be made 27” or 32” long. The bridle is held inside the bag with webbing loops at the top which close with hook-and-loop tape.

The bag in the photo was sewn by a customer using this pattern and is not for sale.

The PDF file includes instructions illustrated with diagrams and the bag pattern pieces. Download the file using Adobe Reader and print out the pages using 8 1/2" by 11" or A4 paper.

The recommended fabric is heavier weight coated nylon Cordura™ but any sturdy fabric such as canvas can be used. For the optional lining use fleece, fake fur, or a plush blanket-type fabric. Thick fleece or fur can be difficult to work with, so use your judgment. Use an outerwear or heavy duty zipper- a 2-way separating zipper which can be zipped up from either direction is nice.

For 27” long bag- 7/8 YD of 45” or 60” fabric, 2 3/4 YDS of 1” webbing, and one 26” zipper.
For 32” long bag- 1 YD of 45” or 60” fabric, 3 YDS of 1” webbing, and one 30” zipper.
For EITHER bag- 5” of 1” wide hook-and-loop tape, thread.
Optional lining- same yardages of fleece or other lining fabric.
