This versatile dress design includes options for four different necklines and three sleeve variations. Using a variety of fabrics, this easily could become your next go-to pattern for wardrobe building. This elegant dress spans the seasons and with different fabrics could be a day dress or a cocktail dress. Subtly sexy without revealing too much, this waist-emphasizing number with beautiful pleats will be welcomed everywhere.
From the pattern envelope: “Misses' and Women's One-Piece Dress and Detachable Collar: Slim skirted dress with low placed, deep pleats. Bodice has long or 3/4 set-in sleeves. View 1 has high round neckline with center shaped opening and may have detachable collar. View 2 has wide neckline with contrast neck trim and cuffs. View 3 has bias trim on neck and sleeve edges." The envelope illustration shows accessories popular at the time.
Suggested fabric types -- V. 1, V. 2, V.3: cotton, linen, pique, chambray, cotton tweed, rayon linen, shantung, sharkskin, taffeta, faille, crepe, wool, flannel, tweed. Contrast V. 1 and 2 (V. 1 lengthwise striped): linen, satin; V. 3: cotton, rayon.

Condition: Mixed. Wear, tears, spotting and yellowing, commensurate with pattern age. Tearing to envelope primarily along top edge, upper left corner and bottom right corner. Envelope flap is absent. Color graphics remain sharp. The pattern tissue appears to have been neatly and precisely cut. The instruction page has yellowed with age, but is otherwise in excellent shape. Please see all photos.
