To work this pattern you need to know how to work in the round, in rows, sc, hdc, dc, tr, increase and decrease. The pattern calls for a back post single crochet as well but do not worry as I give a very detailed instruction how to work it with helpful pictures illustrating the process.

The pattern comes with a 48-page very detailed written instructions and 115 step-by-step pictures to make the project as easy to follow as possible.

I provide information on supplies, sizes, abbreviation keys, stitch count.

Materials and tools:

The size of the booties depends on the yarn and the hook you use!

For 0-3 months (8-9 cm/3.1-3.5 inches long): any Light fingering/3ply cotton yarn and crochet hook 1.75-2mm. I used «Cable 5» by Mondial (50g/200m, 100% cotton). «Perle 5» by Silke, "Marisa" by Lang will work too.

For 3-6 months (10-10.5 cm/4 inches long): any Fingering/4ply cotton yarn and crochet hook 2.25-2.5mm. I used «Begonia» by Yarnart (50g/169m, 100% cotton). «Panama» by Katia or «Catania Fine» by Schachenmayr smc will work too.

For 9+ months (11.5 cm/4.5 inches long): any Sport/5ply cotton yarn and crochet hook 2.5-2.75mm. I used «Lily» by Vita (50g/125m, 100% cotton). «Miami» by Red Heart, «Grace» by Patons, «Cotton 100%» by Katia, «Catania» by Schachenmayr smc will work too.

I recommend that that you use cotton yarn because it keeps shape very well.
