Mojito Anyone ? Remember it doesn't have to have alcohol, mix Mint, sugar, and water, and YUM YUM, just as refreshing as lemonade. Spearmint is the wonderful flavor you taste in many drinks ! Hot tea is my favorite ! Mint’s small flowers bloom from June to September; trim these before the buds open to keep the plant compact. Although slightly frost tolerant, the top of mint will eventually die back in winter except in zones 8 and southward, but the roots are hardy. Replant your mint every 3 to 4 years to keep your patch’s flavor and scent strong. Hardy in zones 5-11. You may plant in pots and even inside if you have plenty of light. Never let your mint dry out !
You will receive five healthy roots two to three inches long or longer. Remember they will spread quickly and are invasive. Please use your own judgement as when is too cold to plant in your area of the country !
