Item details

The lighthouse is often regarded as a symbol of safety with its beacon of light guiding sailors away from danger and safely ashore. Now you can create a safe harbour for your coffee and cake with this fun-to-make lighthouse mug rug from the Patchsmith.

Using a combination of easy patchwork and quick fuse appliqué this functional mini quilt is the perfect project to fit into a couple of spare hours between larger projects. The waves can be created using left-over fabric scraps or you can cut them from one square of fabric. And the lighthouse is quick to apply using my strip appliqué method.

This pattern, like all Patchsmith patterns, comes with easy-to-follow instructions, colour diagrams and full size appliqué sheet ensuring you will not be left at sea as you complete this little piece of fabric art.

The finished mug rug would look good in any home and would make a good mug rug for a male relative, fisherman or lighthouse keeper!

So join with the Patchsmith today and enjoy a little sea time in the sewing room.
