This listing is for BOTH the STANDARD and TODDLER size Tula reversible slipcover PATTERNS & TUTORIALS.

**This is NOT a finished product, but a digital download printable patterns and tutorials to make your own**

The long awaited release of the Crafty Mama Customs slipcover pattern is here! This slipcover design features separate leg panels for a more authentic look, seat darts for an optimal fit, NO unsightly elastic casing at the bottom, and hidden snaps at the sides to close.

The design is FULLY reversible, and there is a bonus section at the end of the tutorial that explains how/where to install camouflaged buttonholes for hood access (the buttonhole directions require a buttonhole foot and assumes that the user is familiar with how it works)

This purchase includes the following FIVE downloads:
1 pdf printable Standard Slipcover Pattern- uses 4 pieces of paper
1 pdf file Standard Slipcover Tutorial, featuring clear directions with high quality photos of each step
1 pdf printable Toddler Slipcover Pattern- uses 4 pieces of paper
1 pdf file Toddler Slipcover Tutorial, featuring clear directions with high quality photos of each step
1 pdf file Alternate edge finishes (for those who do not have a serger or overlock stitch setting on their sewing machine)

Buyers are welcome to sell slipcovers made from the pattern. Credit to the "Crafty Mama Customs" pattern is much appreciated, but not required.

Please do not share, publish or reproduce ANY part of the pattern/tutorial pdfs. I have hundreds of hours put into the creation and perfecting of this pattern, and am very proud of all that hard work!

This pattern/tutorial is well suited for a beyond-beginner sewer. You will want to have mastered your basic machine settings, and completed a few projects before attempting the slipcover. Creating a "practice" cover with scrap fabric is HIGHLY recommended to master the steps/method!

Equipment required:
-Sewing machine
-Overlock stitch on sewing machine OR zigzag stitch OR Pinking (zigzag) Scissors
-2 x pieces of fabric for the main panels: 18x22" for standard, 20x26” for toddler.
-2 x pieces of fabric (leg panels): 4x8" for standard, 4x10" for toddler.
-Coordinating Thread
-Snaps or Velcro (snaps recommended)
-Fading ink fabric marker
-OPTIONAL- Buttonhole foot/automatic buttonhole setting on your machine. This is not necessary, but will allow you an easy way to attach your hood through the slipcover
-OPTIONAL- "fray stop" or similar for reinforcing buttonholes
-Patience. Although this pattern is not difficult, there are steps where you will want to take a "slow and steady" approach
for best results.

Important Notes:
~Since this is a digital pattern, refunds will not be offered after purchase. If you are having trouble with any part of the process, please contact me via Etsy, facebook or email- I am happy to help!
~The TUTORIAL download for the Standard Size/Toddler size features the same photos and set of directions. Beyond the size of the pattern/fabric pieces, the construction methods are identical.

Average review
I am an experienced garment sewer and quilter for over 40 years. I find the pattern instructions and illustrations extremely difficult and frustrating to follow. there are no illustrations of the finished steps. I am not familiar with Tulas and was asked to make one from a pattern, so that may be some of it, but a pattern should be able to be followed regardless. When printed, the pattern was also quite pixelated although my 1" square did line up.

This was so easy to make! Plus it was a bonus that the pattern pictures had pictures of how to make it with the exact same sewing machine I have! Thanks ??
