My mother was a cook by profession as head cook in several schools, and hospitals. It was her gift to take whatever supplies she was given and create a flavorful balanced meal that fed large groups of people. Her career started in the 1940’s. She purchased this corn bread pan for our home use during those early years.
They are heavy thick walled cast iron pans.
