The heart knee patch will keep your knees styling and safe with the extra layer of love and protection it provides, and the seed stitch panels will flatter your lovely legs. Each sock uses the same colors in slightly different ways for a fun and quirky mis-matched look, you will be sure to stand out from the crowd in these socks! Knit with Knit Picks Hawthorne Kettle Dye, they have a beautiful subtle color variegation. These socks come in ankle, knee high, and over the knee length in a girls and adult size to give you lots of options, woohoo!

Instructions are given for using a circular needle using the magic loop method, with the option of using double pointed needles, either way will work just fine! In case you are new to socks, I made a video tutorial for you showing you all of the techniques used to knit toe up socks including how to cast on for the toe, work the increases for the toe, and knit the short row heel in the pattern :)

The heart is applied to the knee after the socks are finished by duplicate stitch (link to video tutorial included). The pattern includes lots of information for customizing these socks if making them for yourself or as a gift, as long as you know your recipients shoe size and height you will be able to make a perfect fit!

Sizes: Girls and Adult to fit ages 7-12 and Adult. Foot Length and Sock Height are custom with helpful links and tips if making these as a gift.

This sock design calls for 300-750 yards of fingering weight yarn (depending on the length you make) and size US 1 (2.25mm) and US 3 (3.25mm) circular needles or double pointed needles.
