Returns & exchanges
Exchanges are only accepted in the case that GibsonJamesDesigns makes an error in processing your order. Please email me before you submit a return. You are responsible for return shipping and your refund will be for the item amount (less shipping costs). I will process returns once we have received the item.
You are responsible for approving the design prior to engraving. Any spelling mistakes or other mistakes that are engraved into the dish based off of the approved design are non-refundable.
Damage hardly ever happens in shipping - but if an item is damaged in shipping, please contact me right away. If you haven't opened your box yet, please contact me first. If you have, I will need photo documentation for FedEx insurance claims. PLEASE BE CAREFUL if your dish is shattered. You can always cut your box open and take a photo of all the pieces inside. PLEASE take into consideration that an item can arrive broken and allow for enough time for me to ship a replacement.
Please note - the glass will not be "perfect", I've yet to see one completely perfect from the manufacturers. The glass sometimes has a little swirl or slightly uneven edge. This is just a result of the manufacturing process. I do weed out obviously flawed dishes that sometimes make there way in to the batch from Pyrex. All glass is inspected by me prior to etching. If you feel your dish is flawed beyond minor, please contact me with photos and we'll figure something out.
Cancellations are accepted prior to the start of your custom order. If glass has not yet been etched, but creative has been started, you will be charged for the my time on the creative.
Orders are made to order and can take up to two weeks + shipping time (normal turnaround is 3-5 business days + shipping).
The bakeware will hardly ever be completely blemish free. It's the nature of how it is made and it is normal to notice slight imperfections include swirls, uneven edges and marks within the glass. I do not engrave on ones with obvious flaws, please be understanding that this is how the glass is made and that these slight imperfections give the glass additional character.
Custom orders are welcome and encouraged!!! I love working on new and personalized creations for my customers!
1. Are the Pyrex dishes dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer Safe? - Yes! All dishes are still all of the above. However, I would caution the rapid temperature changes as stated on the bottom of the dishes (specifically from oven to freezer, the dishes can go from freezer to oven with no issue). These rapid temperature changes can cause the glass to shatter. Also, do not use on the stove top or direct heat.
2. Will the glass etching scratch off? - No. Glass etching is a permanent process and will not scratch off.
3. Can you please leave out the invoice as this is for a gift? - Yes, actually I will only include an invoice upon request. Invoices can always be printed out from your Etsy account at any time.
