INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
It happens every year - the temperatures start to dip and the evenings get chilly, yet it seems too early in the year to be turning the heating on. That's when a hot water bottle is such a help. You can curl up with a cozy bottle when you watch TV, or slip another one into your bed so it will be warm when you are ready to sleep.
However, having a hot water bottle is just the start. Now you need a soft, cozy cover to make it more huggable and keep it warm for longer.
That's where Joules & Joulietta come in. The Joules cover fits a standard-size hot water bottle, while Joulietta is perfect when travelling or for a child's bed. This size is also useful for placing on aching joints when you come in from gardening, or after you have been clearing the first snows of the year.
The pattern features a beautifully textural stitch which is easy to work so the bottle covers knit up quickly. Both are also worked seamlessly, so there is little finishing required after the knitting is completed.
