Directions for use: Warm the part A super clear resin. The ideal temperature is approximately 100F for about 5 minutes. This will make the resin a thinner consistency and easier to mix in your desired color. Gently stir the pigment into the epoxy resin until you reach the depth of color desired. Do not exceed 10% of the total weight of Part A as this may prevent the system from curing. *The amount of color you mix into the resin contributes to the total amount of Part A.* Measure the appropriate amount of Part B super clear hardener remembering that the super clear resin mixes two parts A to one part B. Carefully mix Part B into Part A for two to three minutes. Scrape the sides of your cup and stir utensil several times during the process. Cast as desired.
This pigment does not glow in the dark.
A few additional suggestions for success:
*The opaque red and opaque magenta pigments may slightly stain a plastic mold. This can be minimized by wiping a thin coat of petroleum jelly inside the mold cavity before casting.
*For the best results, pigments should be used within one year of purchase.

Why do I have to mix this into the Part A resin before adding the Part B hardener?
The Resin Obsession colorants contain epoxy resin. This epoxy requires additional hardener in order to cure properly. By adding the color to the resin first, and keeping track of your measurements, you will know how much hardener to measure and add in.
Say what? That sounds complicated. Do I really have to do it that way?
Okay, let me make it easier for you. Let’s say you measure 10 cc of Part A and 5 cc of Part B. You pick one of the colors and add 3 to 4 drops of color to the Part A. Simply add another two drops of Part B to your 5 cc of Part B already measured.
Why do I need to warm the resin before adding the color?
Our Part A resin can be a little thick, especially if it is cool. Warming it up makes it much thinner and easier to blend in the color.
How do you recommend I warm up the resin?
1. You can put the Part A resin bottle on a warming plate (like a coffee cup warmer or small griddle)
2. Put the Part A in a water bath that does not exceed 150F.
When using these methods, do not leave your items unattended. Any utensils or equipment, once used for resin, should not be used for food again.
What specific safety recommendations are there for using this product?
At a minimum, users should be wearing gloves and working in a well ventilated area. Additional information can be found in the Resin Obsession color pigments SDS.
Can I use these colorants with other resins?
Good question! At this point, we don’t know. These pigments were specifically formulated for the Resin Obsession super clear resin. If you wanted to try, they would be most compatible with another epoxy resin.

We try to ship the same day if possible, but it may be up to two business days before your package ships. You will receive notification from Etsy, along with any package tracking information, when your order leaves our studio.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING: We ship through the postal service or UPS. ORM-D items, such as aerosol products and some resin products, must ship via UPS ground. All packages ship with a package tracking number. Priority mail packages generally take 2 to 3 days for delivery, first class mail packages take 3 to 5 days for delivery and parcel select mail packages generally take 10 to 14 days for delivery. Parcel select packages going to places outside the continental United States can take up to 6 weeks to deliver. UPS packages take 1 to 6 business days for delivery. If you need your package delivered by a specific deadline, please message us before placing your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International orders are shipped by first class mail, which may take up to 6 weeks. If you need your item sooner, please contact me before placing your order so we can make arrangements. Any additional customs charges are buyer’s responsibilities. Many, but not all, of our international packages ship with a package tracking number.

Orders should be packed and returned to us in the same method in which it was shipped to you. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for missing and/or broken items along with damaged items because contents were not properly packaged before returning to Resin Obsession.
In the case of lost and/or incorrectly addressed packages, these packages will need to be returned to us or a period of longer than 21 days from shipment (domestic orders) or 45 days from shipment (international orders) will need to have passed in order for us to process a refund or replace the order at our discretion. We do not offer refunds or replacements on international orders when it shows the package is being held by customs of the delivery country. You will need to contact your local customs agent to inquire about receiving your package.
