Cashmere is so light and lofty that each of these little cakes contains 82 yards of lovely pure cashmere (manufactured in Italy). It is wonderfully soft and a joy to knit with. Hand dyed, this yarn was not recycled from a sweater--you can be the very first to knit with it! I dye in very small batches, so these skeins are unique. The price is for 1 skein.
This yarn would be perfect for luxurious winter accessories--a treat for yourself or a very special gift. This skein should make a pair of fingerless mitts or can be combined with other special yarn to make a cowl, a scarf, a shawl, a hat. (I like to use it in combination with silk, mohair, or a silk/mohair blend.) This yarn comes from a smoke-free, cat-friendly home. It will be shipped in a zip-top plastic bag, with a sachet of organically-grown lavender. If you want me to omit the lavender, just convo me to let me know.
To care for this yarn or an item made from it, hand wash it gently in cool water, using a mild detergent or wool wash. Squeeze out the excess water in a towel, then lay flat to dry.. This yarn has been thoroughly washed and rinsed after dyeing, however, some additional color may still wash out of it, so I recommend washing it separately from other items.
