Read what people who have bought our wood say about our wood in our reviews.
We only supply dry wood that has tight bark at the time of shipping. (although you can certainly cause damage by storing directly over heat or in the sun)
We do harvest but only taking the wood that needs to be taken in order for the rest of the forest to be sustainable. We only sell quality wood slices that will hold up for years of use, unlike harvesting dead and rotting wood with loose bark and the possibility of bug infestation. Our wood is cured properly and you will receive it as stated with our photos to back up what it looks like. If we state #1 clears that is what you will receive, if we state some figuring or artist wood that is what you will receive. Also note we measure the white part of the wood for artwork as there is a lot of variable in bark thickness in the type of the wood that we have, so measure the white part of the wood not the bark. So if the listing states 4 inches minimum that is how much art working space you will have.
They are 100% organic.
These come un-sanded.
Please note these are natural wood product and there may be some slightly differences with the coloration of the wood in the rounds your receive. They will all be of similar quality.
Buy local or at least in the United states and teach our children to do the same. Let's stop buying our craft supplies from China there are plenty of resources right here in America.
Made in USA with USA materials. 100% All Natural
The forest land that these came from has not had pesticides or herbicides sprayed in them. We harvest this from our own forest land and practice very sustainable forest practices, only taking the trees that need to be harvested for various reasons while leaving the other healthy trees to grow for many more years.
