This is a collection of 4 Antique French Notebook Covers for School notebooks dating to Circa 1920.
All 4 of them have been previously used and bear varying states of wear, with marking, notes, ink stains and aging.
There are three identically printed notebooks bearing an image of Minerva on orange paper, and one green cover with a scholarly image of a globe and other tools of teaching laid at its base. The back pages of all of the covers bear the multiplication tables for aid at school.
All of the covers are handwritten with the name and class of the little girl who first owned them.
As mentioned these are worn, marked, stained and age discolored. The edges are all very foxed from their working life, and one cover has almost torn from its back page.
Ideal for crafts such as decoupage and scrap booking. Each cover measures approx. 9 inches tall x 7 1/4 inches wide.
