Item details

My daughter (modeling) wanted a cowl that was double layered but without having to wrap it around her neck twice. And, of course, with a cool design. Here it is, a very brioche-y looking cowl:)

Although instructions are written for making this exact cowl (worked flat and joined at ends to create circular cowl), pattern can be used to make a piece any width and length you want.

You could make it longer for a stole/wrap or narrower and longer for a scarf and simply skip the joining. Or, if you prefer a cowl that is this same width when worn but layered by wrapping as opposed to folding, you could make it half the width and twice the length.

Pattern includes notes for adjusting length/width and for using any weight yarn. Sample made using worsted weight (#4) and I/9 crochet hook.
