Original pattern by Sarah Howard (co-author "Simply Woven" 1986, "Creative Weaving" 2007, "Get Weaving" 2014)
This black and white coat is woven in two lengths. The raglan sleeve fits well onto a narrow fabric and side seam pockets allow uninterrupted front panels. Finished with a silk edge to edge lining and toggle fastenings
Sarah has been a teacher for over 30 years and has inspired and helped many people to begin weaving and making clothes. All the patterns are tried and tested
The designs are suitable for a variety of loom widths so if you can weave a scarf they will help you move on to weaving a complete wardrobe. See my booklet "Cutting Without Fear" for ways to prevent your cut fabric from unravelling
