These 3.75 x 2.5 inch cloths are a smaller version of what I use to shine jewelry up before I ship it out. A sample sized cloth is already shipped out with every order containing polished items, so don't purchase this unless you'll need an extra.
These are at-cost; I buy them in bulk and this is the price I pay for them. Please do not purchase this listing unless you have previously ordered or are currently ordering jewelry from my shop.
All domestic orders are shipped via USPS, insured, with tracking. Larger packages (that won't fit into a mailbox) will require signature upon delivery.
International orders may select USPS First Class shipping for an economical option, however, I can only guarantee orders which are shipped via USPS Priority International or Priority Express International. First class mail does not include tracking or insurance.
If you need something different, please message me before ordering and I will create a custom listing for you. I will not ship an item without tracking, insurance, and delivery confirmation.
I do not include invoices or receipts with orders (but if you want one I'll be happy to email it to you), and all packaging is appropriate for gifting. If you like, I can also email you (or your chosen recipient) an invoice with the financial part removed, for gift return purposes.
All import taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
It doesn't happen often, but packages are occasionally lost by the postal service. All items will be shipped with tracking information, and I generally keep an eye on items to make sure they get to you. If a package doesn't move for a few days, or it disappears in transit, I first try to locate it with the carrier. If I can't, I will replace your items and reship them to you at the same shipping speed you previously selected without charge-- if you'd like to upgrade the shipping on a reshipped package please let me know and I will invoice you for the difference. The exception is with First Class International shipments-- they tend to move in spurts and can sometimes be delayed for several days, especially when going through customs or entering the destination country. They are also sometimes held at your local post office to wait for import taxes or customs fees, so make sure you check there, too.
With custom items, processing time starts as soon as payment has cleared.
For engagement rings or larger orders, payment plans are available; message me for details.
If your payment has not cleared within 10 business days, your order will be cancelled and the item re-listed.
Colorado customers must pay sales tax, which will be calculated with your order.
Returns & exchanges
If the item received does not meet your expectations in any way, please let me know immediately so that I can resolve your issue as soon as possible. Due to the nature of custom items, I can't accept refunds for most items except for fabrication error. I can, however, modify an item to your specifications (if possible) you are dissatisfied in any way.
It is my intention to provide only jewelry that will last the lifetime or the owner. But if an item should break, even through normal wear and tear (for best results, please follow any care instructions/recommendations provided to you specifically or under "additional information"), I will repair (if possible) or replace (if not) the item for free. The applies to any purchases made in my shop unless otherwise stated.
Gemstones will be replaced only if damaged or lost due to fabrication errors. However, if you lose or damage a gemstone and it isn't covered, I'll still replace and reset it for you for the cost of the stone plus shipping. Just get in touch with me and I'll tell you how to get it to me so I can do that for you.
If a ring does not fit, I can re-size** it for you; just get in touch with me and I will help you ship it back to me. Please be sure to size up stacking rings when you order (if you plan on stacking them-- for wearing alone please order your correct size). Half a size for 3-5 thin rings and a full size for more.
**If you are not sure of your ring size, please let me know and I will ship you a (free) ring sizer before I begin your order. If you do not use the ring sizer and I have to re-size your ring, there will be a $20 re-sizing fee. A return label (for you to send back it to me) is included with re-sizing. Engagement rings and bridal sets are the exception; they can be re-sized one time for free (we will split the shipping). No need to ruin the surprise.
If you want something modified after owning it for a time, just get in touch with me and we can discuss what you want. I can change the finish, set with different stones, add stones, or re-size (in the case of rings or chains) most items.
You will receive tracking information on all orders. If an item is lost in transit or misdelivered, please let me know so I can try to locate and/or replace it for you.
Caring for Your New Jewelry:
Argentium silver is very resistant to tarnish, and it doesn't need to be polished frequently like other sterling silver. But it can discolor over time or when exposed to chemicals or sweat. For longer shine, take it off when you're bathing, baking, hot-tubbing, swimming, or working with chemicals.
If it does darken, you can wash it with soap and water, or dip it in white vinegar for 10-15 minutes. Dry with a soft cloth to prevent scratching.
Clean gemstone jewelry by hand for best results. Many stones are sensitive to other cleaning methods.
I take care to harden jewelry before shipping it out, but it still might become scratched from time to time.
Most small marks can be polished out with a soft cloth (I like Sunshine® Polishing Cloths). Don't use a polishing cloth on jewelry with a brushed or matte finish. To remove scratches from these finishes, use sandpaper. For brushed, use 400-500 grit paper, and make slow strokes only in the direction of the previous brush lines. For a matte or satin finish, use 1000 grit paper, moving in one direction. For deeper scratches, you can use an emery board directly over the scratch and then move to the appropriate paper. Do not use the paper directly on gemstones, as it might permanently damage them. After using the paper, clean with soap and water and dry with a soft cloth.
Maintenance will likely not be necessary very often.
Enjoy your new jewelry, and feel free to contact me for more information.
