The berries are an iridescent white so they kind of look like a string of pearls. Growing up to 6 feet tall this plant likes to live in sun or partial shade. The plant attracts birds, bees, and butterflies. This is a larval host plant for the Rustic sphinx Moth. It is a documented nectar source for the Mangrove Skipper butterfly. It is also used as a mosquito repellent. USDA Hardiness Zones 6 to 10
