Items will be shipped USPS within 3 business days of cleared payment but usually same day not including weekends.
Purchases are shipped to listed PayPal addresses so buyer is resposible for making sure the address is correct.
If an item is returned because of incorrect address, the buyer is responsible for the cost of reshipping.
I cover the cost of insurance.. Costs of shipping upgrades are listed. Upgrades are not included in my free shipping. Free shipping only applies to hats and not supplies.
If shipping upgrade cost is less than listed, any amount over $1 will be refunded.

NOTE: International customers : Some items are not allowed to be imported into certain countries. And, although I try to keep informed on such things laws change constantly so if custom seizes your shipment (e.g. for feathers, straw, etc.), I cannot refund your money if I have not received the hat back.
I accept PayPal, credit cards thru PayPal and ETSY, ETSY gift cards. E-checks through PayPal can take 5-7 days to clear. Please pay upon selection. Illinois residents please include 7% sales tax.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
Refunds will be given only if an item is significantly different than the item described and I am contacted within 3 days of delivery. Overseas clients have 14 day return but I still must be notified within 3 days of delivery that you intend to return the item and all other conditions apply.
Be sure to check head size before you buy. (see listing for how to measure head size.)
Item must be returned in as sent condition, the same way it was sent to you. The item can not have been worn or damaged in any way.
Please read the listing carefully, ask questions, and examine the pictures.
Shipping charges will not be refunded. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.
