2 vintage French burlap sacks with a few hand-made patches, very authentic, rustic feel and looks. 1 bag has a logo on 1 side and 4 patches, the other one has no logo and 3 patches. The patches sure add another dimension to these sacks, the way they look so hand-made, not made to look pretty, but just to fix the bag efficiently. Each patch has been covered/soaked with a dark product, to stop fraying and to make the repair tighter. The logo on the one bag is from Potasse d'Alsace: this North-Eastern region of France has been a major producer of potash for most of the 20th century. Its logo bears the famous Alsacian stork, traditional symbol of Alsace (and in that region, you do see a lot of these birds nesting on top of chimneys!). These sacks could be used to make something (recover a rustic chair, for instance), or they could as well be decoration, hanging on a wall...

All our products are shipped from France, using the French Postal Services priority mail (called Colissimo for parcels), a fast and reliable service. You should receive your parcel or envelope in 3 to 10 days (not a guaranteed time, but very reliable), depending on your country and how far you are from a major centre. Remember also that your parcel may be held by the Customs Services of your country, and that no one has any control over this; you the buyer are fully and solely responsible for any Customs taxes and duties. Parcel priority mail (Colissimo) includes a tracking number to follow your parcel (this service may or may not work once the parcel has left France, depending on your country), and your signature will be required to get your parcel. Insurance coverage is included (23 euros per kg), which should cover many of our products; if you wish to get insurance for a higher value, it will be at extra cost (get in touch with us for that). Shipping costs also include packing and handling. If an item is small enough, it will be shipped in an envelope by regualr mail: shipping cost will be lower but there will be no tracking, insurance or signature upon delivery. If possible, we will combine shipping: sometimes, it is advantageous to combine shipping, sometimes it is not possible or not cheaper... We will do our best to get you the best shipping rate! We do our very best to pakage each item with great care but, should the product arrive damaged, you the buyer need to file a complaint with the Postal Service locally; you then email us a copy of your complaint receipt, and we can issue a refund; insurance never covers shipping cost, so this is not refundable. Please make sure that the correct shipping address appears on your Etsy or Paypal account! We cannot be held responsible for packages which are undeliverable or not collected by the buyer from their Post Office for any reason. No refund will be issued for items returned to us as undeliverable
We accept payment via Paypal, by Etsy Direct Payment and Etsy Gift Certificates. You can also pay with a credit card through Paypal, even if you do not have a Paypal account
