Here I am offering Seeds from Panax quinquefolius, also known as American ginseng. These herbs grow to about a foot and a half high and like to live in full shade. This highly sought after plant blooms from late Spring until early Summer, and the flowers are followed by bright red berries which the birds just love. This is an endangered species in many areas. The roots are edible and can be candied if that is preferred. The leaves and roots both are used to make tea. USDA Hardiness Zones 4 to 7
Very fast shipping, and the seeds look great! There's no sign of damage or any illness on the seed casings. I'm going to be starting them just as soon as the pots are ready, and I'm really happy with the simple growing instructions sent as well. One thing I am a bit less thrilled about after messaging the seller to ask since I realized it didn't say on the description was if the seeds were stratified to make sure they had a higher chance of germination....these weren't, and ginseng takes forever to stratify.
I ship all orders out immediately as they are placed to make sure that everyone receives their seeds as soon as possible.
I ship all of my U.S. orders USPS-First Class with tracking.
International Shipping through USPS First Class Package Intl $4.95
