This is the evergreen shrub that bursts open with tiny but mightily fragrant blooms in January in zone 8a and above. Though I have never seen this plant growing as a houseplant, I don't think that would be a bad idea if you want to try it out. Placing it in deep shade though in your home will not work as well as it does out-of-doors. In the shade here in Oregon, this plant simply thrives.
Confuse your neighbors by placing it near your sidewalk of the edge of your property. The shock of a waft of jasmine scented air is a great gift to all those who notice during the middle of winter.
Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These may take up to a year to germinate but are WELL worth the effort. (about 30 seeds)
Basic Plant Facts:
Grows 4-6' x 4-6'
Likes partial to full shade
USDA zones: 8a-11
