Made from a mold of a very unique antique metal button, this is one of my favorites! One thing horses do when they are trusted friends is face different directions and groom each other, or use their tails to keep flies from each other's faces. I have seen our horses do this, and am always touched at how animals can show kindness to one another.
These two horses are doing just that, surrounded by a graceful backdrop of trees. I made this one out of rose bronze clay, and since rose bronze clay shrinks much more than the golden version, this pendant is a petite version of this design.
This bronze pendant was hand-crafted by me from bronze clay. It was then dried, sanded, a wire loop was added to the back, it was fired in a kiln, and tumbled to bring out the shine. It measures approximately 26 mm / 1 1/16" wide, and is ready to wear on a free 19" copper ball chain (please let me know if you would prefer a different size of chain).
