Item details

Mid weight decorator fabric of the 1950s in a travel themed novelty print. This feels very much like the fabric kitchen curtains were sometimes made out of in the mid century. Shades of cherry red, azalea pink and avocado green on a creamy background. Locations include Paris, France; Tokyo, Japan; London and Italy with delights from each location depicted. While originally intended for draperies, I would make a set of capri pants, circle skirt and matching playsuit. With 8 yards of fabric the possibilities are endless!

-288" long. (8 yards uncut)
-36" wide bolt

Very Good condition rating an 8 out of 10. There are two sections of discoloration (as seen in photos 1 and 3) from storage in the home of the original owner. I have not laundered this fabric and it is likely to fade with hand soaking or be completely removed. One small hole as seen in the last photo.

I happily ship to International customers using USPS Priority Mail International. I do not falsify customs forms and your country may charge you a value added tax for which you are responsible.

Returns & exchanges

In over a decade of selling items over the internet, I have never offered returns unless I made some error in the listing. So far it's happened twice. Flaws are noted and photographed when needed or available upon request. As a seamstress I excel at measuring garments, recommend you measure something of similar style and am always happy to walk you through how something might fit.

As I specialize in items from 1968 and before, everything is sold as found in used condition.

Should I make an error, returns may be accepted with notification of the problem and the customer agrees to pay shipping both ways. A 15% restocking fee will apply.

Additional policies

Please note that our vintage clothing is shown on models who fit it properly. Any pinning or modification to fit will be noted in listing.
