This "Thieves" print was inspired by a 15th century German woodblock print. It depicts mischievous characters stealing ripe fruit in the dead of night. Printed in Los Angeles by our longtime supplier. Feral Childe's hand-drawn "Thieves" drawing is printed with the dye gain process, so this fabric is great if you are inclined to dye projects. The drawing will get darker with dye; when you first look at the fabric the print is in fact invisible so this image is a simulation (more photos to come).
This soft organic cotton/hemp/lycra woven fabric is a light tan color printed with the dye gain process. Dye it yourself and the print comes to life. We recommend this fabric for trousers or jackets, as well as your home decor projects. The fabric is a canvas cambric we have been using for several seasons and we find it soft yet sturdy. Fabric is made with fibers from and milled in China. Printed in Los Angeles.
Recommended care: use mild detergent and machine wash gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang dry. It's proven to be quite durable and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Love this fabric. It's got a very odd feel and I can't wait to feel it after it's been dyed and washed. I think it's going to be great.

I love how this came! It feels completely like fine linen and it's white...it's just waiting for dye so that the little thieves emerge. I wish I could buy the whole lot up!!!! So many difficult color choices to make!
