Comfortable and cozy, the Muskoka dress offers a simple, style that makes you want to curl up by a crackling fire on a cool, crisp day.

THIS PATTERN HAS BEEN FULLY UPDATED IN 2018, INCLUDING A NEW NAME (formerly called Autumn Grace).

The basic dress falls at the upper calf and includes long sleeves and narrow bands around the neck, cuffs, and hem. This purchase also includes the Muskoka Expansion Pack, which adds six additional options to this great basic pattern! Make your dress into a hip-length tunic and pair it with leggings and boots. Remove the sleeves for a fabulous jumper perfect for spring or fall. Switch things up with a stylish cowl neck, a cozy hood, or a trendy split collar. Plus, add inseam pockets to any option!

This dress is designed specifically for soft snuggly fleece, and the basic dress/tunic can be made start to finish in less than an hour.

Recommended Skill Level - Confident Beginner

Seam allowance is 3/8" (1cm) unless stated otherwise in the pattern, and is included in all measurements and templates.
Required Supplies: sewing machine, needle suitable for fleece fabric (universal 12/80 or 14/90 or stretch recommended), pins/clips, scissors.
Suggested Fabric: This pattern is designed to be made with light-medium weight fleece with a minimum of 30% stretch.

Pollywoggles pattern pieces are "nested", which means all sizes will print together (a printing guide is included for which pages to print for specific sizes). The lines are color coded by size. In the case of rectangular pattern pieces, most of the time they will be given in the form of a chart of measurements. Charts will be included with the printable pieces as well as be listed before the step-by-step portion of the pattern. The pattern includes detailed photographs and/or illustrations and written instructions for every step.

All of my patterns will have a 3/8" (1 cm) or 1/4" (6mm) seam allowance, and it is stated on the first page of the pattern as well as in the pattern details. If the seam allowance changes for specific steps in an individual pattern, that is clearly stated. All pattern piece measurements and templates include the seam allowance.

Absolutely! If you are a home sewist or have a small business selling handmade garments, you are welcome and encouraged to make and sell a finished product from my patterns. I really like this pattern. The sizing is spot on, and it's a quick, straight forward sew. I would have liked a few more options, such as different neck or length options, but over all it's a good pattern that I will use many times :)
