This is the Lochsa from Fire Creek Forge. It is designed for skinning and light utility work. It has a 3" long, 1/8" thick O1 tool steel blade with a hollow grind. Over all length is approximately 6 1/2".
The handle is secured with epoxy and a brass rivet and lanyard fitting.
Pictured with the black micarta handle and cocobolo Dymonwood handle.
This knife is razor sharp and is made to hold an edge. Experienced hunters know the value of a small, sharp knife for field dressing and skinning game.
Whether you are skinning game or doing miscellaneous tasks around your property, this handy little knife will get the job done.
Like all Fire Creek Forge knives, the Lochsa is built from scratch here at our home shop. Comes with a hand stitched leather sheath treated with leather oil to protect it from the elements.
