This lovely set of vintage draftsman tools are tricky to configure into the correct spots. I can't figure it out; hence, I can't be positive all the pieces are there. I count nine. They are lovely and quite macabre looking juxtaposed on a background of soft velvet.
At March Hare Made our predominant venue for shipping is the United States Postal Service (USPS); however for inordinately large or peculiar shaped packages we have been known to utilize United Parcel Service (UPS). Based on experience, all parcels will contain a delivery confimation for our protection and ease of tracking and expected delivery. In the case of fragile items, insurance is mandated. Often, we include insurance to ensure the USPS does not mishandle our items. Shipping is estimated and shipping overages greater than $2.00 will be refunded.
Shipping will occur within one to three days of purchase. Items that are customed ordered may take longer and details should be discussed with shop owners prior to purchase.
At March Hare Made we accept credit cards and Etsy gift cards, as well as Pay Pal.
At this time, we do not collect sales taxes due to our lack of nexus in accordance with applicable state laws; however, we recommend buyers comply with state laws as it pertains to use taxes herein.
Returns & exchanges
At March Hare Made, quality is of utmost importance to us. Refunds are determined on a case by case base and dependent on our shop sections. Please refer to "Additional Information" as noted below.
As good stewards of the earth, packing material is often reused or recycled material.
Our jewelry, more often than not, is made from found objects and upcyled. It is usually highly distressed using chemical agents such as Liver of Sulphur, Etchant Solution, E6000 and/or Rub n' Buff. While we have a penchant for rusty, corroded, and peeling objects, we strive to create a durable product made with multiple reinforcements (e.g. two jump rings, etc). If you have a problem with the quality of our handmade jewelry, please do not hestitate to contact our shop.
Our paper ephemera is cut from quality cardstock, dyed in a variety of teas, and stamped with quality inks. More often than not, our tags are affixed with an eyelet for added durability. Ribbon is muslin, dyed in teas and colored and stamped with high quality dyes or inks, respectively. Botanicals are ordinarily from our yard and pressed. We strive for perfection and stand behind our work; hence, if there is an issue with quality, please do not hesitate to contact our shop.
***Altered/Upcycled Art*** These are soul-stemming creations often based on literature. Items are usually repurposed or upcycled but not without quality. Questions or clarifiations should be posed to our shop without hesitation.
We are novices with regard to antiques and vintage items. We purchase these items out of sheer love and enjoyment of the hunt while participating in auctions, estate sales, flea markets and the occassional garage sale. Items are reviewed for quality and/or flaws and disclosed as there is no attempt to mislead customers. Items are researched as thoroughly as possible and we absolutely welcome comments or corrections with our stated findings (e.g. we listed something as carnival glass and something as a composition doll incorrectly). Should you have questions with our findings, please contact us ahead of time for further clarification. Our true passion of architectural salvage is what it is. Items are often cast off and repurposed by us.
