Hollyhocks are an old and popular cottage garden flower big ground leaves with tall, spikes of full flowers, which appear right into autumn and even the frost. It will gently self-seed into places it likes but never becomes a nuisance!
The photos are all from my garden. I have hundreds of hollyhocks come up every year. They are usually a biennial and will green up the first year and then bloom for a couple years after that.
You will receive the amount like in the last photo
SOWING ADVICE: FOR BEST RESULTS, SOW SEEDS ONTO A GOOD SOIL-BASED COMPOST. COVER THE SEEDS WITH FINE GRIT OR COMPOST TO APPROXIMATELY THEIR OWN DEPTH. THEY CAN BE SOWN AT ANY TIME, AND WAIT FOR NATURAL GERMINATION AS MANY SEEDS WAIT FOR SPRING BEFORE EMERGING REGARDLESS OF WHEN THEY ARE SOWN. SPRING SOWING WILL OBVIOUSLY GIVE THEM A FULL SEASON OF GROWTH.
