Handspun wool yarn, 200 yards, Wine colored, hand dyed, Romney wool, "Vintner's Delight" Oregon, Pacific Northwest wool
This listing is for 200 yards of hand spun yarn. It made with hand dyed Romney wool from Iron Water Ranch in Albany, Oregon and was spun out of the lock. It is next to skin soft. I really enjoyed spinning this yarn. I spent many hours with my spinning wheel perched above our local waterfall. It was a delight to watch the colors of the day change along with the color of the yarn as it was spun. The color also reminded me of the beautiful hues of the grapes that were ripening ready for wine harvest. This yarn would make a lovely shawl or sweater.
