Jet-Opaque II Inkjet Transfer Paper 8.5x11" - 1 Sheet

Inkjet printable transfer paper intended for use on dark fabrics. Contains an opaque layer to hide the color of the substrate. This product adheres to cotton, poly-cotton blends and leather.

*This product can be used with a hand iron, a heat press is NOT required.

** We also offer inkjet transfer paper for use on light color fabrics.

JET-OPAQUE® II transfer papers are designed for the ink jet heat transfer printing of photos and images to dark colored T-shirts, sweatshirts, mouse pads, puzzles and leather goods. Made by Neenah Paper.

JET-OPAQUE® II transfer papers can be used for the following materials:

Recommended for dark colored fabrics. Applies to cotton, cotton/polyester blends and leather. Choose garments that have a tight weave. This is particularly important when transferring to sweatshirts. Note: Dark colored polyester and nylon are not recommended because the dye may migrate into the transfer.

Printing Instructions:

Print image right reading on the coated side of the paper.
Trim away the areas of the transfer that have not been printed on if desired.
Peel the paper backing from the transfer film.
Pre-Transferring Instructions:

Prepare the substrate by ensuring the surface is clean, dry and wrinkle free.
Transferring Instructions:

Place the Heat Transfer Paper on top of garment with image facing up (right reading to you).
Completely cover the image with ironing sheet.
Cover ironing sheet with a spare piece of cloth.
Press 30 seconds @ 350°F using medium/heavy pressure.
Peel away ironing sheet once cold in a smooth even motion.
HAND IRONING INSTRUCTIONS


Printing Instructions:

Print right reading image on the coated side of the paper (NO mirroring/reversing of the image).
Trim away the areas of the transfer that have not been printed on if desired.
Peel the paper backing from the transfer film.
Pre-Transferring Instructions:

Preheat iron to highest setting – do NOT use steam (empty all water).
Iron on a SMOOTH HARD surface; do NOT use an ironing board.
Place a pillowcase on the surface and iron the pillowcase removing any wrinkles.
Place substrate on pillowcase and iron it to remove wrinkles.
Transferring Instructions:

Place image on top of garment with image facing up (right reading to you).
Completely cover the image with ironing sheet.
Using 2 hands, using heavy pressure slide the iron up and down (vertically) over the entire image for 90 seconds, then repeat going from left to right (horizontally) for 90 seconds.

Peel the ironing sheet off the image approximately 2 minutes after completion of ironing.
*for smaller transfers one-half or less, the ironing time is reduced to ironing vertically 45 seconds and horizontally 45 seconds. If the transfer area is smaller than the iron, iron for 30 seconds with heavy pressure.

Washing Instructions:

Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low-heat setting. Do not iron directly on the transferred area. IMPORTANT: Heat presses vary in accuracy. The sellers and manufactures maximum obligation shall be to replace any paper that has proven to be defective.

Storage:

Store unused transfer sheets in a cool dry place. Keep them sealed in the zip lock sleeve that they came in to protect them from moisture and dirt.

Test Application:

As with all transfers, always perform a test application on the intended garment before going into production.

Our standard shipping methods are USPS First Class and Priority. If you wish to upgrade we will gladly ship Priority Express, FedEx or UPS at an additional cost. IF you opt for UPS shipping you will also incur a pick up fee as our town does not have a UPS drop off location and we are charged for UPS pick ups. If you opt for FedEx it's possible there may be a slight delay in when the order is shipped due to the fact that FedEx is not always able to schedule same day pick ups and like with UPS we do not have a drop off location in our town. All of our orders ship with tracking but first class orders do not include insurance unless you wish to pay the additional $2 to cover the cost of insurance. PLEASE NOTE: while USPS Priority is 1-3 day shipping, the date provided by USPS is an estimate of delivery and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Unfortunately, once your order leaves us, we have no control over delays from the carrier.

During the holiday seasons, it is important to keep in mind that order processing and shipping transit times are expected to take longer than normal.

Once a label has been created and your order has shipped, you will receive a notification from Etsy with tracking information. Unless you are notified otherwise by our shop then your order shipped on the date marked as shipped - no matter what tracking shows. THIS ABSOLUTELY MEANS THAT YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY USPS, BUT ACCORDING TO USPS, IT CAN TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS FOR THE PACKAGE TO BE SCANNED INTO THEIR SYSTEM. Once an order is scanned into the USPS system we are no longer responsible for your item(s)/package(s). If an order arrives damaged or is lost, you must file a claim with the USPS when applicable, i.e, when you have paid the additional $2 for insurance on a first class package or your order has shipped Priority or Priority Express.

Please be aware that regardless of what USPS tracking shows, if we mark your order as shipped it absolutely has shipped unless we have notified you otherwise. Typically, we have a morning pick up by our local USPS carrier and then do a late afternoon or evening drop off at the local PO. Due to the number of orders shipped daily, we can not and do not take packages in to the PO and request that they scan each in, thus packages typically will not be scanned in until they are transported from the local PO to the origin facility.

DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES, ONCE WE PUT AN ORDER INTO THE HANDS OF THE CARRIER SELECTED BY THE BUYER, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATES, NOR DO WE REIMBURSE DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOUR ORDER MAY NOT BE DELIVERED BY THE DATE YOU ANTICIPATE OR REQUIRE. Please keep this in mind when selecting your shipping carrier and/or the time of purchase.

Orders that are shipped to the wrong address due to buyer error are not the responsibility of our shop. If an order shipped to the wrong address is returned to our shop we will gladly reship the order once you have paid the necessary additional shipping cost. We can not guarantee that orders shipped to the wrong address will be returned or how quickly they will be returned.

If your order has been shipped but does not show tracking according to the carrier there is a 14 day wait period from the date the order was shipped. If your order shows no tracking and has not been delivered by the 14th day we will either reship your order or issue a full refund.

We are happy to do anything to help you with your purchase, but we cannot control the actions of a governmental agency, i.e. the USPS, or a shipping company, such as FedEx or UPS.

**INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: As the buyer you are responsible for any additional fees charged during shipping, i.e.: import tax, tarriff, etc. As the seller we are NOT responsible for figuring those fees prior to shipping or covering those costs.


Payments

We currently accept PayPal and Etsy's Direct Payment method. All payments must be made within 24 hours of placing your order, otherwise the order will be cancelled unless you have contacted us to make arrangements for delayed payment. Please note that we will not begin processing your order until payment has been received. If you are paying with an echeck through PayPal or for some reason your PayPal payment does not clear immediately please be aware that your order will ship within 1-3 business days AFTER the payment has cleared.


Returns & exchanges

If your items are lost or damaged during shipment we will assist you in any way we can with filing a claim with the carrier so that you can be reimbursed for the items BY THE CARRIER. Please be aware that USPS first class shipping does not include insurance so if your items are shipped first class and are damaged, unless you make arrangements to pay the $2 to cover the cost of insuring your order prior to shipping, you will not be able to file a claim for reimbursement.

If an order is shipped incorrectly we will provide a return shipping label and once the order is received will ship the corrected items, or you have the option of receiving a 10% discount on the incorrect items if you wish to keep them.

Personalized items are NON-REFUNDABLE. If there is an error with the design due to our shop's error we will offer a discount or send out the corrected items along with a return label for the incorrectly designed item(s).

If you wish to return your items due to a change of mind you must pay for return shipping with tracking and once your order is received we will issue a refund less original shipping cost, and a 10% return fee. If you wish to exchange your order you must pay return shipping with tracking and once your order is received in new unused condition we will begin to process the exchange but you will be charged a 5% handling fee as well as shipping cost to reship the exchanged order.


Additional policies

**Please note that when making your purchase you must specify the color choices for the items purchased either using the drop down menu within the listing when applicable or by leaving your choices in the note box during checkout. If you do not specify your color choice(s) the items ordered will be shipped as a random selection so that shipping is not delayed.

We offer a shipping discount for large quantities purchased, so please contact us prior to making your purchase so we can create a custom listing. In addition, we will gladly special order items if you have a request for an item that we do not have in stock.
