This yarn is handspun from handdyed Wensleydale wool and natural Masham wool. Wensleydale wool has a beautiful lustre and slightly fuzzy appearance (a bit similar to Mohair). Wensleydale are a beautiful british sheep breed (well I really like these 'Rasta' sheep) which is categorized as "at risk" by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust of the U.K
I handdyed some roving first and then spun it into a thick 'n thin plied yarn.
The skein is 130 yards / 102 gram.
(I took 2 pictures, one in daylight and one with flash)
