Item details

Optim is fine merino wool which has been stretched to increase the staple length and create a micron count of 12 to 14 which is as soft or softer than most cashmere but much stronger. This process also creates a sheen to the fiber and it has been heat set so it won't shrink or felt. A joy to look at and touch this combed top spins into a lovely yarn. This fiber is not suitable for felting.

I hand painted this roving in really deep rich shades which reminds me of the autumn leaves falling to the ground in an array of intense colors amidst the forest floor. You are buying 56 grams (2 ounces) of this combed top spinning fiber in colorway "Autumn".

Attention: I do combine shipping on multiple items but they need to be paid for together – Please wait to pay until you are through shopping and when you check out it should reduce the shipping. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their country might charge. I usually take close up photos. Please read the description to determine what you are buying and review my shop policies- I don't want you to be disappointed in your purchase.
