These rivet repair kits will allow you to replace many standard rivets in just about any type of material.

There's quite a lot to tell you about here, so bear with me.

These kits are available in nickle or black double cap, or single cap nickle, or a combination, all of them include a setter.

Here are your options:

Kit 1 is double cap nickle. It includes a domed anvil (to set the rivet so that the bottom doesn't get "smooshed"), and 10 each of the three sizes of double cap rivets (the sizes are below).

Kit 2 is the same thing, but in black oxide finish.

Kit 3 is also the same thing, but it includes BOTH nickle and black.

Kit 4 is single cap nickle. It does not include the anvil, as there is no finished side on single cap rivets. It includes 10 each of the three sizes of single cap rivets.

Kit 5 is everything - both tools, and 10 each of all the rivets (single cap nickle, double cap nickle, and double cap black oxide).

You supply a hammer and a rigid flat surface on which to set the rivet (an anvil is best, but a flat steel plate works well - I have even used a door hinge when I was really stuck for a field repair).

If you need more rivets, I offer them in my shop in 100 and 1000 packs. If you need 20 of 1 style and none of another, just let me know, I'll create a private listing (rivets come in multiples of 10 only).

What size rivet do I need? The length of your rivet should be 1/16" to 1/8" longer than the thickness of the items you are riveting.

Small single cap 5/16"-5/16"-1/4"
Medium single cap 3/8"-5/16"-3/8"
Large single cap 7/16"-3/8"-3/8"

Yes, most all of them! Please remember that shipping is expensive, and I have no control over that, and your country may add duties to the incoming package. I must (by law) declare the item for the full value, mark it as "merchandise" (not a gift), and I always insure the package for the full price for your protection.

All items are securely packed, in new materials, and should arrive safely to your home or shop. I doubt that any of you would want an item gift wrapped, but I am sorry but don't offer that anyway (you _really_ wouldn't want something wrapped by me - it looks like a 6 year old did it).

I try to list the dimensions of everything in the listing. On rings it is the inner diameter. On most other items like buckles, D rings etc., it is also the inner diameter, but, more importantly, it is the size of the material that properly fits IN the item. Like a 1" D ring is meant to hold 1" leather or material. For rivets I give all the sizes, and the proper size rivet for your use should be from 1/16" to 1/8" LONGER than the THICKNESS of all the items you are riveting together.

Well, I can answer half of that. I will ship your order the same or next business day unless there is a problem of some sort, and then you will hear from me, usually within hours of placing your order. When it will get there is up to the post office or FedEx. First class is usually 3-5 days, depending on how far from Florida you live. Priority mail is 2-3 days. FedEx is 1-5. Orders to outside the country can be from 5-15 days, depending on distance, yet again. Customs processing can delay that, but I am pretty good at giving them the information needed for rapid processing. Everything has a tracking number, and while first class doesn't provide in transit tracking, it does show when it was picked up, and when it arrives at your local post.

Absolutely! I package in the most common quantities, but will gladly ship any quantity you need. For items that come in 5 or 10 packs there are discounts that start at 50 (although in many cases 100 packs are already listed in my shop). For less than 5 of an item that is packed in 5 or 10 packs there is an additional charge per piece. For the smaller items like rivets which come in 100 and 1,000 packs, discounts start at 5,000. My minimum order is a whopping $3.00, and can be made of different items. It all starts by just sending me a conversation!

GREAT etsy purchase for me. A nice feature for me was the Rivet Repair Kit contained all the items I needed in one transaction. Then the seller promptly refunded the portion of the shipping charge that was not needed, which I really appreciated. I used to do this as an ebay seller and know that by including this nice "treat" to buyers, the seller is "adding" an extra step to his end of the transaction. Shipping was super fast. No problems or issues.

I normally am ready to ship on receipt of your payment. If an item is in stock (most usually are), and I receive your order by noon Eastern time, it will usually go the same day.

If there will be a delay and I can't ship within two business days I will notify you immediately on receipt of your order. I will be happy to completely refund your transaction if you can't wait.

Shipping problems: I have found over 25 years that there are very few orders that go astray, however while I hope it doesn't happen to you I do want to explain my policies.

All shipments are insured. I handle all claims for lost or damaged goods. If something arrives damaged just let me know and I will arrange for return, and process your claim immediately. If you don't get the shipment (in the time frame specified by the carrier for lost packages) I will either reship or refund in full, your choice. Unfortunately I cannot handle any claim for non delivery if the carrier shows it as having arrived. I regret that in that rare circumstance you will have to deal with the carrier directly. I have shipped thousands of packages over the years and I average less than 2 claims a year.

Returns & exchanges

I will gladly refund your merchandise cost on receipt of returned items. Please contact me first and advise that you wish to return, both so I can be ready to handle your return, and so your merchandise doesn't languish in my post office (I don't go daily, as I have pick up at the warehouse but not delivery - I know, odd).

If I ship the wrong thing, being human like the rest of us, please let me know immediately on receipt. I will email you a prepaid shipping label (or even postal mail you one if you don't have a printer) to return it at my expense, and get the right items out to you immediately.


Additional policies

I can work with people on pricing for large purchases (1000 or more of a hardware item or 5000 or more of a fastener / rivet / or snap in a single order) in many cases (regretfully not all). If you would like a quote, please just send me a message.
