This pattern pack features my Liberated Churn Dash QUILT pattern and my Liberated Churn Dash Placemats patterns. Enjoy the two patterns and try two different liberated piecing techniques.
I designed the Liberated Churn Dash QUILT block while playing with scraps and my husband requested it for his quilt. My bee mates helped by making some of the small liberated churn dash blocks from my tutorial. I refined and improved those instructions, plus included how to quilt each panel separately so you can quilt this big quilt on your domestic sewing machine. Of course, you can make it the traditional way too by sewing all the blocks together to make the quilt top.
Have fun, learn an easy way to foundation piece, and create a modern masterpiece for yourself!
The Liberated Churn Dash Placemat pattern is filled with photos and will inspire you to play with angles to make your own liberated churn dashes. These blocks are made with a different technique than the ones in the quilt.
Flexible design options let you play with fabrics by using ones from all one fabric line or mix up your favorite scraps.
Practice machine quilting or finish with quick echo quilting to finish a set to give as a gift or to get ready for the next special occasion! An easy way to go liberated!
